The client is a growing firm that uses an innovative and integrated approach to management consulting. They have built a strong arm within the consumer product industry with a strong presence in Asia and the USA. With a strong leadership team and a growing client base, they have a strong track record successfully delivering on multiple projects. Not only demonstrating the ability to implement and build re-engineered change management processes to improve EBITDA, the results also have had a positive impact on cash- flow, investments, capacity, compliance and future growth. This new role is to support the current leadership team with further growth across the region. This is a new role with the idea that the individual can move into a head of business unit role.

As a Director, you will play an important role developing the capabilities of the consulting services in Asia. With an established team of talented consultants and key customers, you will utilize this springboard to drive additional impact with existing key customers, coordinate the delivery of multiple projects, and leading business development opportunities for the firm.

Your role

• Manage multiple large and complex projects teams simultaneously 
• Lead projects from inception of problem definition, scoping and structuring to day-to-day management of the team and review of impact with clients
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with senior executives throughout the life cycle of the project
• Accountable for delivering client and projects on cost and on schedule
• Provide leadership, coaching and development of the team
• Take the lead in designing training and development programs for the firm
• Provide regular status of project updates on deliverables to clients 
• Develop deep relationship with new and existing clients for the consulting practice

Your qualification

• Before any qualifications and experience, you are curious in nature, are naturally very structured and have strong problem-solving skills 
• University graduate preferably in Supply Chain / Business Management / Engineering
• 10 years of leadership experience with a consulting firm, with 2-3 years at a managerial level 
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills  
• Strong analytic and decision-making abilities  
• Broad spectrum of logistics, manufacturing process, forecast planning and supply chain management 
• Demonstrate project management skills and past successes, including cross organizational program management 
• Able to work under pressure and willing to take on new challenges  
• Business travels and client meetings
