Responsibilities:

• Detect any possible issues as they emerge from media and follow up immediately
• Develop relationships with national and cross regional press contacts to ensure the company reputation is promoted and to deflect criticism
• Work with the manager to provide communicates value-added recommendations to leadership
• Promote the value of crisis management to all business functions globally
• Monitor and develop crisis database from the media coverage
• Work with the manager to craft the appropriate spokesperson strategies and media policy for the Group
• Provide tailor-made spokesperson training in support of leading third parties
• Work with third party agency to deliver round the clock media monitoring service including print and social
• Plan and support press events 

Requirements:

• University degree in Public Relations/ Journalism/ Communication/ Translation/ Marketing or related disciplines
• At least 5 years’ media or PR work experience
• Experience in marketing, advertising and PR agencies is an advantage
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in both of English and Chinese writing and speaking skills, including Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
• Occasionally travel to mainland (Guangzhou)
