Being a crucial member of our buying team, the successful candidate will help us in sourcing and negotiating with media vendors to provide media plans and execution at the best value, through the supervision of our senior buyers.

She / he will need to work closely with our planning team and help follow through on advertising campaign executions. Training on negotiation process and usage on proprietary tools will be provided.

To become part of the family for IPG Mediabrands, the candidates require:

• High Diploma or above in any discipline;
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in marketing, media or advertising is preferred but not essential;
• Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and spoken language skills;   
• Detail oriented, organised and sensitive to numbers;
• Good communication skills, a team player and self-motivated;
• Look for a stable and long-term employment commitment.

Job Scope:

• Assist supervisor on negotiation and sourcing of costs from media vendors;
• Optimisation of media budget and provide the best value for client;
• Co-ordinate and follow up implementation of media plans;
• Prepare regular competitive reports with summary & analysis;   
• Prepare media opportunity evaluations and market updates.
