Responsibilities

• Develop strategic partnering with key vendors, consolidators
• Work according to the annual budget for Sales, GP, Purchase, Inventory of the department
• Process purchase orders for new products, promotion products, replenishment and ensure the order is delivered as scheduled
• Monitor sales performance and propose improvement actions with the target of sales targets achievement, inventory level and minimized Damage & Loss ratio
• Prepare regular reports for management review
• Gather quotations from local vendors and propose the pricing for promotion items for management approval
• Communicate and negotiate with local vendors to strive for maximum promotion supports
• Maintain related promotion reports in order to provide an overall picture of the updated status of all promotion activities for management review
• Investigate the complaints and propose remedial actions to Buyer
• Ensure the Tanawari layout is maintained through periodical store visit and communication with counterparts

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 4 years merchandising experience in the wine industry
• Basic wine knowledge is a must, knowledge in fine wines and hold a WSET level 2 or 3 will be an asset
• Have a great passion for wines
• Have global vision with travelling/ overseas experience is a plus; strong market sense and awareness, excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good analytical skills; able to use any analytical tools other than MS Excel is a plus
• Fluent in spoken & written English and Mandarin
• Able to handle multiple tasks under tight schedule and rapidly changing environment while maintaining attention to details and accuracy
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
