Our Group is looking for young and dynamic staff members to add to the current team in Hong Kong.

The candidate for the position of Footwear Technician should have the following characteristic:

• Participate as a member of the Team led by the group general Specs department manager
• Guarantee that all the Confirmation samples respect the initial requests in terms of material, fitting and construction

• Creation of the standards of footwear category.

• Arranging all the footwear control sheet, the official document that will authorize the sourcing to proceed with production stage
• Review sketch or footwear sample with pattern

• Communicate with the development/design team to ensure smooth transition of designs to actual production

• Review construction and issue necessary adjustments or corrections

• Inspect the accuracy of samples to ensure it follows original design, checking fittings, brands logo standards and fitting.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 3-5 years related work experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including, development, production and quality is necessary. Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to think big-picture, anticipates problems, plan and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent Inter-Personal Skills, Good Planning Skills and knowledge of the group’s sourcing calendar for production, Brand and Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Positive Behavior and with a Proactive/Independent work skills.
• Required high flexibility to travel abroad.
• Professional English Skills, fluent in Chinese and Cantonese, Italian is consider a plus.
• Good computer skills: basic Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator software and internet navigation.
