Take a leading role in the implementation and administration of NetSuite accounting system. Strongly involved with the specifications, testing and administration of financial modules of the freight forwarding system. Implement and maintain the company financial and reporting systems to match accounting, reporting and security requirements. Ensure all system change are planned, implemented and tested thoroughly according to standard implementation procedures. Prepare reporting formats & guidelines and coordinate reporting processes with subsidiaries and management. Perform sanity check on financial and statistical information reported and provide support with business planning and analysis.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Finance or Accounting
2. Bachelor of Information System/Computer Science
3. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance Systems & Accounting

 Knowledge/ Skills and Abilities:

1. Experience with NetSuite implementation and administration is a definite plus.
2. Experience in working with freight forwarding systems is a definite plus.
3. Knowledge of accounting software systems implementation & administration
4. Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
5. Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools
6. Strong documentation skills, with ability to write user requirement specifications, test plans/scenarios, and user training guides/operating procedures
7. Strong analytical skills, detailed and meticulous.
8. Knowledge of Accounting and Tax principles
9. Good written and spoken English skills

Corporate Management:

• Provide leadership and management to the finance team on finance systems and reporting issues.
• Ensure Finance staff is trained and team organized to perform the work required.
• Ensure internal controls are implemented and maintained according to company policy.

Finance & Reporting Systems

• Lead implementation of NetSuite accounting system.
• Lead development, testing and training for financial modules of the Freight Forwarding system.
• Involved with development and testing of interface between the Freight Forwarding system and NetSuite accounting system.
• Develop, Maintain & Test Finance & Reporting Systems
• Maintain Chart of Accounts
• Maintain and monitor Finance Systems security.
• Verify system integrity through reconciliation of consolidated ledger to subsidiary ledgers.
• Support Finance Systems Users and ensure problems reported are solved in a timely manner.
• Manage Finance Systems Software licenses.
• Maintain professional relationship with Finance Systems vendors.
• Develop & Maintain Finance Systems User and Administration Manual.
• Train company staff on use of the Finance Systems as required.
• Coordinate with IT department to ensure all technical requirements relating to the Finance System are addressed in a timely manner.

Business Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare yearly reporting calendar and instructions.
• Manage reporting process to ensure reporting deadline are met
• Develop & maintain standard reporting formats in coordination with management, including and not limited to: P&L Statement, Balance Sheet Statements, KPIs Reports, Cash Flow Statements.
• Review and analyze financial and statistical information and provide comments to management.
• Support consolidation process as required.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.
• Support Group for budgeting and reporting activities including:
  • Prepare reporting formats.
  • Organize reports collection from subsidiaries as per timing defined.
  • Perform quality checks on data collected.
  • Consolidate data collected according to company formats.
  • Issue reports to appropriate distribution lists.
• Ensure Reconciliation of Intercompany Accounts& provide leadership in the intercompany process.
