THE ROLE

Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager - APAC, the Logistics Supervisor will assist in the execution of all aspects and compliance requirements of outbound and inbound shipments globally and ensure the corresponding information flows correctly throughout the supply chain and beyond.  This person will work with multiple departments at HQ & external partners and will play a critical role in the day-to-day and long-term objectives of the Operations department.

The Logistics Supervisor will:

• Liaise with vendors and freight forwarders for shipment and delivery status
• Handle all import and export operations and issues
• Maintain the accuracy of I/E shipping documents and prepare if needed
• Liaise with factories and BLP’s to gather all invoices/PL’s/Import docs in a timely manner.
• Maintain seasonal master shipping summary report
• Work closely with purchasing team on suppliers delivery and production schedule
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and deadlines are met
• Formulate KPI to our logistics service providers/freight forwarders and manage their performance
• Assist the sourcing team to evaluate and monitor vendor capabilities and performance
• Communicate with counterparts in Hong Kong and Shanghai office and NA headquarter
• Prepare analysis of logistics reports for management review
• Maintain factory/supplier directory

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree Holder in Logistics/Supply Chain Management preferred
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in handling import/export documentation and clearance.
• Experience in handling Vietnam and Shanghai BLP export/U-turn operations is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Experience in fashion and apparel industry is preferred
• Ability to work independently
