Role and Responsibilities:

• Support the FDAP program by monitoring and maintaining the QAR download process to ensure an effective capture rate of the airline operation;
• Maintain curriculum and syllabus for Safety Management Awareness Training;
• Maintain the Safety Management Awareness training record and training database;
• Support the Supervisor, Safety Management & Development (SSMD) in the Safety Report, Hazard Registry and Corrective Action Plan (CAP) databases;
• Communicate with appropriate departmental safety representatives regarding Safety events and corrective action and ensure effective corrective action is taken;
• Actively monitor the operation for trends and provide regular reports on significant safety issues;
• Assist the MSMS and SSMD in investigations of safety events;
• Responsible for the drafting of QSS reports and presentations to senior management and external agencies related to the airlines SMS;
• Assist in the development of Safety Action Group Meeting materials and serve as the secretary to the Safety Action Group;
• Support the MSMS and SSMD in the day to day tasks of the airlines SMS program;
• Administer the Safety document control system;
• Draft periodic safety articles to promote safety awareness amongst employees and services providers;
• Draft periodic reports on Safety performance;
• Continuously reviewing status-quo to ensure the effectiveness of safety, quality and security systems for HKE are at optimal level and the AOC is protected;
• Support the IOSA program as and when directed by MSMS. 

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years’ work experience. Aviation industry experience is preferred;
• Good computer literacy;
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese language is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good Writing ability and organizational skills;
• Strong analytical, time-management and problem-solving skills.
