Factory Auditor / Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Officer
in China /Fast East
Job description:
CORPORATE INTERACTION :
- Directly reporting to Corporate CSR Manager in Headquarter at Holland/Belgium
- Coordinates CSR activities in cooperation with the vision & directives of Corporate CSR dept
BRANDS INTERACTION:
Regular communication/ reporting with BRANDS CSR coordinator & Buyers on all operational follow up.
Main Activities:
- Pre - Audit : Identifies potential CSR issues and communicates with the Business Units about solutions on a regular basis
- Intermediates between the BU’s and suppliers (and their subcontractors) in all CSR related communication
- Coordinates Fair Wear Foundation audits and trainings at production locations in cooperation with a FWF employee
- Monitors/ Enforces FWF’s Code of Labour Practices at all the production locations by suppliers and employees
- Ensures FNG International’s Code of Conduct is being respected at all the production locations by suppliers and employees
- Works together with the suppliers on constant improving of the CSR compliances such as working conditions at the production locations
- Creates awareness of importance of CSR between the suppliers, employees at production locations and in the local office
- Helps implementing the vision of FNG International within the local community – suppliers and employees at production locations
- Directs and controls the social responsibility activities of the suppliers – on the production locations
- Submits a report of the past CSR activities on a monthly basis
- Submits a CSR action plan for the upcoming month on a regular basis
- Creates / shares & maintains a comprehensive database of CSR reports and supplier register
- Inspects new production locations according to the compliancy checklist/ vendor set up procedure
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of English & the local language communication skills
- Excellent Project management skills + ability to coordinate the work of others
- Health & safety / Other relevant certification and Local Labor Law knowledge is a plus point
- Preferably Minimum 5 years of relevant experience ( textile industry)
