Due to the company’s strong performance over the last 20 years and increased global demand for their ground-breaking products the organization is further developing their business across Asia.

Working from the newly to be established Regional Office located in Hong Kong we are looking for an experienced Senior Controller.

Job description:

You will manage all financial controlling activities for the company’s activities in the region of Asia, Australia, North America, Latin America and Russia, with direct reporting lines to both the Division Manager and the CFO and communicating with the Business Unit Managers in the different countries.

Your responsibilities:

• Prepare the financial accounts of the companies within the regions quarterly including the group consolidation;
• Perform financial analysis;
• Prepare annual budget projection;
• Arrange and ensure the completion of annual financial accounts, audits and all taxes;
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, legal advisors and other third party specialists;
• Manage the local team and provide functional guidance to financial professionals linked to the business units on country level;
• Perform ad hoc projects, including the set-up of new entities.
• In line with the growth of the company, the following additional responsibilities will be added to the position in the near future:
• Responsible for cash flow management, including reporting and forecasting;
• Prepare different management reports and support setting up of a KPI reporting structure.

Your profile:

• You have a degree in Accounting or Finance with professional accounting qualification;
• You have at least 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably within an international environment;
• You are self-driven and have excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
• You are a strong communicator in English and have well developed presentation skills
• You are self-starter, flexible and have a can do mentality
