Purpose of Job

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced, professional and detail-minded individual to manage and handle all accounting affairs for Reebonz, one of the most established luxury e-commerce companies in the world.

He/She will be in charge of all accounting/finance matters in Finance Department, including but not limited to daily accounting operations, month-ended closing, financial reporting and liaise with local & HQ on statutory audit & annual tax return.

Major roles and responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, manage payment processing and monitor online customer receipt.
• Monitor weekly cash flow and bank position.
• Perform inter-company reconciliation, prepare monthly account schedules and analysis.
• Responsible for monthly financial closing and coordinate year-end statutory audits as well as profits tax computation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, quarterly forecast and annually budget.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to ensure effective management of capital as well as budgetary control.
• Maintain accounting records in compliance with corporate guidelines and international accounting standards.
• Communicate with headquarter finance department on both local and group finance matters.
• Liaise with bankers and auditors on treasury and auditing issues respectively.
• Perform ad hoc projects assigned by Management.
• Oversee and co-ordinate the full process of payroll, medical reimbursement and retirement benefits including monthly payroll payments, tax returns, MPF and other related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (ACCA, etc).
• Minimum 4 years of audit or accounting experience.
• 2 years of experience with full set closing required.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Familiar or experience with Oracle/Netsuite system is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS word and Excel. Advanced level in Excel is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self motivated, independent and detailed-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical skill, sensitive to numbers and attention to detail.
• Strong initiative, well-organized and result-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Diligent and conscious to the deadline.
• High adaptability in rapid changing environment.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice advantageous
• This position will be based in Hong Kong.
