Job Description

CLP Engineering Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CLP Holdings Limited, we undertake a variety of engineering work including energy services, facility management, infrastructure electrical and mechanical projects, lighting services, power engineering and traffic control & surveillance systems. We are looking for a financial professional to join CLP Engineering Limited. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Produce financial reports of a group of companies, including period end closing, prepare company accounts in compliance with financial reporting standards and statutory requirements and reporting package to holding company
  • Handle taxes reporting, tax related issues and follow up with tax authorities of different jurisdictions
  • Compile budget, business plan and management information for monitoring performance against targets and perform budgetary control of expenditures
  • Render professional advice to business branches / project teams in tendering project and other business analysis and conduct evaluation of commercial viability of new business developments and risk assessment for project selection
  • Implement an effective business control framework, enhance internal control effectiveness and awareness within the Company, and ensure adherence to group policies, practices and guidelines
  • Identify and recommend changes to procedures and systems to improve efficiency and quality of information
  • Participate in other ad hoc / project assignments to cope with business needs
  • Occasional travel to PRC / overseas is required

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Accounting / Finance, and professional qualification of a recognized Accountancy body
  • At least 5 years’ relevant working experience
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
  • Strong analytical mind and problem solving skills with good business acumen
  • Proven interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively at all levels and good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Creative, independent, self-motivated and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Proactive and be able to work under pressure in meeting time schedules
