Reporting to the Managing Director, Physical Security, the Business Development Associate will work with the team of consultants to develop targeted sales campaigns to establish new clients and strengthen existing client relationships. The associate will analyze current market trends and identify business opportunities, and originate sales leads through pro-active business development activities. The associate will also need to prepare proposals and pitch documents and statement of qualifications for the consultants.

The associate will also work with the marketing team on the production of security-specific marketing materials, including thought leadership pieces and case studies, and on planning and implementing marketing campaigns.

Required skills and experience: 

• At least 3 years’ experience of formulating and executing sales campaigns with an excellent meeting origination record.
• Solid experience in proposal writing, with fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin; knowledge of Cantonese will be an advantage
• Curiosity, tenacity, and ability to forge client relationships.
• A strong team work ethic and excellent people skills.
• A highly professional and commercial approach to identifying business opportunities and unquestionable discretion in dealing with confidential information.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Experience in security and / or a consultancy is an advantage, but not mandatory
