Long-established in Europe, our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of safety components for seating. They are now inviting a dynamic professional to lead its finance and administration function for its operations in Hong Kong and mainland China.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee the company’s financial accounting activities for both Hong Kong and China operations. You will manage tax issues, control operating budget and manage inventory/ maintenance of fixed assets to ensure financial success. You will collaborate and coordinate with external parties e.g. auditors, accountants and banks, and assure all activities are in compliance with legal and company standard. In addition, you will support activities in related to personnel, purchasing and office administration.

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance, or any other related disciplines
• A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in accounting and office administration; experience of managing China operations is essential
• Good knowledge of tax planning, import documentation and custom clearance; with some experience in HR, purchasing and administration
• Exposure to manufacturing/ electronics/ automotive industry will be highly sought after
• Dynamic, pragmatic with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
