Job Description
SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE
Clinical Division
The Clinical Division of the School of Chinese Medicine is going to establish a Chinese Medicine centre which is expected to start operation in December 2017. The centre will develop a comprehensive innovative Chinese medicine platform for health management to the public by providing health education, health assessment, preventive healthcare service and cloud health management. The School is now inviting applications for the following position.
The appointee is expected to assist in marketing campaigns and educational activities, including seminars, exhibitions, health talks, guided tours, and other functions. Major duties also include conducting health related questionnaires and demonstrating the use of Chinese medical equipment; assisting in monitoring the sales volume and inventory control of health products; building customer relationships; assisting in health product promotion; and performing any ad hoc work as assigned.
Applicants should have post-secondary educational qualification, preferably in Chinese medicine related fields, with some relevant work experience. Experience in event organisation or customer relations will be an advantage. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), high proficiency in computer applications, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The applicants should also be self-motivated, able to work both independently and in a team. Work on weekends and/or public holidays may be required occasionally.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
