Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provide the compensation & benefit support to the local HR team and the store employees including but not limited to payroll administration, focal review execution, offer proposals, and HR reporting so as to support business needs and delivery.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Compensation & Benefit

  • Be responsible for store payroll and ensure the data accuracy and provide for further processing on time;
  • Assist making offer proposals under the supervisor’s guideline to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness;
  • Assist the annual focal process under corporate guideline and be within timeline

2. HR Operations

  • Assist store employee on-boarding coordination;
  • Be responsible for employees check-in & check-out process, and proper maintenance of employee personal files;
  • Assist in HR benefit administration, e.g. employee medical, insurance, MPF and etc;
  • Implement HR policies & procedures and answer employee inquiries accordingly, including leave management, etc.;
  • Prepare the monthly various HR reports with accuracy and deliver on time

3. HR Systems Administration

  • Maintain employee information in the related system
  • As the key user, to coordinate with IT department on HR needs, answer store HR inquires; and deliver training for new hires;
  • Follow up on the HR system related projects, includes system upgrades or new system implementation;

4. HR Project

  • Support local HR initiatives and the ongoing improvement in different HR processes/ project as assigned

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

  • HR team in Hong Kong and HQ HR team in China
  • Payroll & benefit administration team in HK GIS office
  • External vendor and government units in related HR processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Familiar with HK Employment Law and related regulations;
  • Good communication skills and teamwork with service mindset;
  • Attention to details;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet assigned timeline, able to work independently;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs and web-base internet software and products;
  • Good oral & written English and Chinese

2. Minimum educational level:

  • College diploma

3.  Minimum experience:

  • 2-3 years of basic C&B experience preferred in Retail industry
