Senior Credit Evaluation Manager

Commercial & Corporate Loans

Job Description:

• To support Regional Credit Officer to formulate, recommend and implement credit strategy to ensure it is in line with the Group’s credit and business strategy.
• To plan, organize and manage the team of credit evaluation managers and credit analyst to perform effective credit evaluation function to facilitate sound credit decisions by all levels of approvals. 
• To drive the credit evaluation staff management and development plans.
• To perform credit evaluation and risk assessment on new or existing credit application in compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements
• To assess and identify potential credit risks, and recommend mitigating offer for the approving authority’s consideration and approval
• To work closely with stakeholders to improve end-to-end processes in order to improve efficiency and turnaround time
• To guide and assist relationship managers/originators in business units to work in accordance with the bank’s credit policy and requirements

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines.
• 10 years of working experience in rating / accessing or evaluating Corporate and Commercial Loans including syndications, structured trade finance, project finance and capital /global markets products (with 5 years’ or above experience in leading and supervising a team to support  the business)
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, FPM, ACCA or CPA will be an advantage
• Able to articulate credit and defend credit decision made
• Possess adequate product knowledge, regulatory requirements and latest development of the various industries at regional level
• Able to take initiative in improving work process and service delivery
• Strong analytical skills in credit and credit risk assessment
• Good communication, interpersonal as well as leadership skill
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Putonghua
