A startup forex trading platform is looking for a Hong Kong-based assistant manager to help grow and develop its business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with supervising Type 3 regulated activity (leveraged foreign exchange trading) as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO)
• Provide guidance and support to top management on strategies and daily operations in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements as well as performing credit and risk control management
• Assist in compiling and reporting office performance on a regular basis.
• Provide assistance in communicating with SFC and other relevant regulators.
• Forecasting and scheduling to optimize operations.
• Assist in updating and maintaining proper documentation of all operations, policies, and procedures, including operational and risk control procedures.
• Assist with compliance duties (with support from legal counsel).
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

 Requirements: 

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business or other related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years experience in foreign exchange trading or forex compliance
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Experience with electronic trading platforms would be a plus
