Job Description

THE TEAM

The team provides technical support for all products supplied by Dealogic across the 6 major business lines. The global team handles client coverage 24 hours a day to 200+ clients.

The Associate Technical Support Engineer (ATSE) will field calls directly from clients and via the relationship team. The ATSE will also work closely with client based IT groups, internal client relationship teams and product specialists to provide seamless high quality support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide 1st instance high quality support to a global investment banking client base for all Dealogic products
  • Respond to, prioritise, escalate or resolve data delivery problems to various reporting applications, on a daily, intra-day, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Liaise with 2nd and 3rd line teams to ensure effective escalation of large scale, high impact issues
  • Ensure other client facing teams are kept up-to-date and informed of incidents and events in their business lines
  • Take ownership over incidents and events, accurately and fully recording information in a central ticketing system

 SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer related discipline or equivalent
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Ability to work in pressurised situations
  • Experience in application support
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Office suite
  • Good knowledge of SQL, intranet and internet technologies
  • Excellent understanding of technology and system architecture concepts
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Worked in a client facing position
  • Experience of dealing with internal and/or internal client in often pressurised situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Problem solver, flexible and adaptable
  • Customer focused with strong communication skills
  • Understanding of financial markets is highly desirable
