Our client is a Global Investment Bank. To support its rapid business expansion in Asia, they are looking to add 3 headcount in the below areas:-

1. Application Support (Cash Equity)

2. Application Support (Risk & PnL Applications)

3. Application Support (Research & Sales Applications)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day technology issues and requirements for the Cash Equity  / Risk & PnL / Research & Sales business applications 
• Understand the Equities business flow and provide expert application consultation and support to the Front Office and Middle Office
• Work together with Front & Middle Office to support trading, P&L and booking of the trades from an application perspective
• Develop key application expertise on the Global Equities suite of applications and work with global teams
• Ad-hoc reporting for Front and Middle Office
• Participate in key projects for expansion of the business to ensure seamless implementation
• Ensuring the operate stability of the application suite and making sure that system capacity is actively managed

Requirements

• Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering or other related discipline
• At least 5+ years working experience within investment bank / financial sector
• Experience in Front Office Equity trading support with in-depth knowledge of Equity/derivative product is a MUST
• Familiar with front office trading environment
• Strong technical skills such as Unix, SQL and excel etc.
• Rapid Application Development (RAD) experience preferable using Excel
• Able to multitask and work effectively under extreme pressure and stress
• Strong communication skills and analytical skills
• Fluent in spoken and written in Cantonese and English
