Our client, one of the quickest growing Chinese investment , is looking for seasoned Application Support for their mission critical trading systems. The successful candidate will be responsible in monitoring and maintenance of business applications and respond to exceptions by initiating the correct actions. 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in monitoring and maintenance of business applications and production environment and respond to exceptions by initiating the correct actions
• Provide L1/L2 application support for high-performance front-to-back office systems for multi-asset classes
• Work directly with users to build trusted relationship and provide timely technical and functional support
• Work with internal infrastructure team to plan servers and databases capacity; and ensure effective system monitoring
• Work with external vendors on application development and perform testing to ensure quality of their deliverable
• Take ownership of production issues and provide incident management

Requirements:

• 3-year application production support experience in a well-established company (Some securities and financial services experience would help)
• Good technical skills in Unix and Windows shell scripting
• Good database SQL knowledge in Oracle, MS SQL or Sybase
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and be attentive to details
• Good communication skills in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
