RO SFC Type 6 / Principal  - Investment Banking Division

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and provide financial advice on transactions in capital raising (including debt capital markets, initial public offerings, secondary placements, convertible bonds, etc.), mergers & acquisitions, as well as corporate finance (takeovers and corporate restructuring)
• Execute and manage the entire process of varieties of corporate finance / structured finance transaction including negotiating terms and liaison with external clients/ professional parties for preparation of transaction documents
• Prepare new business origination materials involving relevant structural and perform financial analysis including financial modeling and due diligence
• Provide leadership for team in due diligence, documentation and daily execution. Work closely with internal investment analysts for execution of financial projects
• Maintain excellent relationships with the banks and other professional parties on transactions
• Review existing policies and procedures to ensure all regulations are aligned with SFC and the HKEX etc.

Requirements:

• University Degree or above in Banking / Finance / Business Administration or related disciplines
• SFC Type 6 license holder
• Over 8-10 years’ relevant Investment Bank experience in Investment Bank or sizeable financial institutions or a proven track record
• Mature individual with good interpersonal skills. Ability to instill confidence, inspire and gain cooperation at all levels, both inside and outside the organization
• Possess problem solving and research skills in order to lead in the negotiating and reviewing of finance transactions
• A self-starter and team player who can work independently within a dynamic, ever-changing environment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua is a must)
