Responsibilities: 

Preparing reinsurance quotation and agreement 

• Develop reinsurance solutions to clients
• Prepare reinsurance quotation and agreements 

Research 

• Analyze insurance market landscapes and demographics
• Analyze trends to develop reinsurance pricing bases
• Participate in researching new business development initiatives  

Technical Enquiries 

• Structure and develop pricing models to complete quote that meet the clients’ objectives and Hannover Re’s philosophy
• Conduct experience studies on existing block of business to develop experience-based assumptions meaningful to the adjustment of pricing basis

Treaty and Management information administration 

• Prepare reports and documents
• Update systems to capture quotation and pricing parameters 

Client Support 

• Assist and give advice to clients on different insurance arrangements
• Assist in arranging client events, seminars and conferences 

Communication

• Work closely with clients
• Work closely with internal parties, such as the valuation team and underwriting team
• Work closely with people within the Hannover Re Network

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Actuarial Science
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Access
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player
