Responsibilities

• Assist the lead in new products, including health supplements, and proprietary Chinese medicines for commercial launch.
• Supervise the process of new product sourcing including supplier / vendor identification, product formulation validation, quotation, supply contract terms negotiation.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers and other business partners.
• Responsible for the scheduling, inventory control, and purchasing plan for raw materials and associated product packaging materials.
• Analyze market trends and maintain a competitive market price.
• Develop strategies and lead projects for material’s cost reduction.
• Prepare Monthly Purchase & Inventory Report and price analysis.
• Develop guidelines and procedures for continuous improvement of the overall logistics and warehouse management.
• Provide functions claims supporting to marketing department

Requirements

• A degree holder in Pharmacy, Biochemistry or Nutrition
• At least 3-4 years working experience in product development in health supplement or FMCG industry (Less experience will be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer).
• Strong sense in health supplement market trend and business acumen in foreseeing new product potential.
• Experience in health food product registration in China and overseas is an advantage.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is an asset).
• Organized, detail oriented, creative and result-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Strong sense of responsibility, mature and self-initiative.
