The client is a respected global financial institutions, is now seeking a Fund Accounting Manager / Investment Accounting Manager / Assistant Manager - Fund Accountant to join their growing team in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Investment Accounting include valuations, accruals, GL and chart of account maintenance, monthly closing and reporting
• Ensure a proper analysis and interpretation of investment results and execution and measurement of effective controls and quality checks are performed and signed off
• Responsible for local accounting and reporting processes, chart of account maintenance and ownership, as well as the day-to-day client contact
• Lead the team for investment accounting and operation
• Look after the month end closing, regulatory returns and external reporting for investment
• Lead the accounting and tax filing for all investment products
• Assist in building the process to manage the middle office function
• Review monthly NAV reports with Fund Administrators

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
• Professional qualification on CPA, ACCA, CFA, etc.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, investment management or insurance investment accounting operations  
• Sound knowledge in traditional and non-traditional financial instruments and markets
• Familiar with SAP FSCM is preferable
• Knowledge with IFRS 9 is a plus
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
