Our client, one of sizeable engineering company is URGENTLY seeking the following position:-

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee Accounting Dept and monitor a small team with 7-8 subordinates. 
• Review accounting duties of subordinates and ensure timely completion of month-end closing.
• Review management accounts and related reports for subsidiaries, joint ventures, joint operations and associates (HK, Macau and the PRC).
• Responsible for the Group consolidation and review related schedules on quarterly basis.
• Review audited financial statements and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth annual audit.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accounting standards and company’s policies and procedures.
• Implement continuous process improvements to ensure the best practice is adopted to enhance efficiency and internal control.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder in Finance / Accounting.
• Qualified member of HKICPA is a must.
• Minimum 5-8 years solid and relevant experiences with at least 3 years at similar level of position in sizable companies or audit firms.
• Strong technical knowledge on accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS application and with knowledge in using Flex Accounts and Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Mandarin is an asset.
• Frequent travel is a must
• Immediate available is an advantage.
