Job Description
Our client is a dedicated life insurance company who has been providing a wide range of insurance and wealth protection products to customers in Hong Kong for years. There is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join their HK finance team.
Responsibilities
- Lead timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and manage local statutory reporting for the life insurance business line
- Ensure proper accounting record bookkeeping in alignment with company framework
- Coordinate external audit on local statutory reporting
- Collaborate with actuarial and other finance staffs, and external auditors on handling accounting treatments and issues in complicated transactions
- Participate in initiatives of compliance with new regulatory requirements
- Oversee Asset Data Store submission for Solvency II
Requirement
- Degree holder in Accounting or Finance
- Qualified CPA with 7-10 years accounting experience in life insurance financial reporting
- Strong language (both Cantonese and English) and interpersonal skills
- Big Four candidates with insurance client portfolio will also be considered
