Job Description

This position is a part of the senior regional management, reporting directly to the General Manager of Strax Asia. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and financial services, and oversee the company secretarial service in our HK and SZ offices
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting function, including budget, tax planning/reporting, auditing  & forecast for APAC.
  • Provide guidance to group companies to ensure accounting policy is in complies with corporate standards.
  • Drive budget and forecasts process, monitor and review P&L and Balance Sheet activities.
  • Ensure proper and appropriate business processes and systems are in place.
  • Work closely with headquarter and group companies to manage working capital, treasury and capex and related issues.
  • Act as business partner to support the internal planning meetings and reviews for the region.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for audit and other reviews, and support corporate for trading audit.
  • Provide due consideration to identification and management of various risks.

 Requirements

  • Bachelor degree with professional qualifications, audit and tax experience – CPA qualified highly preferred.
  • More than 10 years management experience gained from multi-national company, at least 5 years in regional role.
  • Experience in FMCG, Brand or Distribution business is preferred.
  • Strong skills in interpersonal, communication, negotiation and time management.
  • Dynamic, able to take up new challenge and willing to travel.
  • Ability to achieve tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Previous experience in PRC manufacturing & sales is preferred.
  • Excellent language skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)

Due to recent expansion, we are looking for Director of Purchasing for the Hong Kong & Shenzhen offices.  This position will directly report to the General Manager in Asia.
