Our client, a MNC software co. is looking for the candidate with the following details:

Duties

• Support the Japan region accounting, auditing and taxation
• Ensure the month-end, quarter and annual reports accuracy which complie with the local GAAP report within deadline
• Handle taxation which fulfill the tax regulation requirement
• Ensure timely VAT, GST , taxation and other statutory submissions and reports within deadline
• Monitor the operation which compile with the regulation of Internal control and corporate compliance
• Ensure the statutory accounting and taxation are in line with the corporate regulation by working with internal parties such as HR and Legal Depts.
• Liaise with external parties to ensure the accounting and auditing work complete timely and accurately
• Participate in SAP upgrades, UAT and enhancement etc.

Requirements

• Fluent Japanese, or native Japanese who could work either in HK or in Japan
• Fluent English and able to work in a MNC environment
• Bachelor degree in Accountancy
• With 3  years or above experience in accounting or auditing
• With experience in handling regional accounting checking or coordination
• Excellent PC and Accounting system user
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, responsible and able to solve problems independently
• Demonstrate quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and attentive to details
• Understanding of complex accounting and tax transaction in different countries such as pricing accounting, FX transaction, deferred tax, VAT and GST
