Our Client
Our client is an internationally renowned retailer, currently going through rapid expansion in Hong Kong with multiple new locations opening. Due to increased growth they are urgently looking to appoint an Accounts Receivable Associate, reporting to the Accounts receivable manager in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Arrange and organize all invoice procedures, verify all invoices are received/sent, approved and entered in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that every invoice has proper supporting and approval; communicate with other departments and vendors whenever it is necessary.
  • Review accounting reports and accounts receivable register to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide reports to the AR manager regularly about the suggestion of the timeline in which invoices should be paid.
  • Manage monthly closing and posting of accounts receivable sub-ledger to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures and policies of accounts receivable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in related to Accounts Receivable role with supervisory experience, in retail industry preferably.
  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Accounting and Finance/ACCA or equivalent
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Good in priority setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact and build relationship with other departments and vendors
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word
  • SAP proficiency is a plus.
