Job Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Financial Controller and CFO, overseeing the finance and accounting functions
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and annual reports
• Analyze and evaluate business performance and corporate risks
• Responsibility for timely, complete and correct month end close process, including timely reporting to corporate and management, ensuring proper supporting documentation is available
• Securing compliance with corporate policies and guidelines as well as local laws and legislation
• Implementing new / changing accounting and reporting requirements as instructed by corporate
• Provide sufficient profit or loss for the company's investment and financing projects
• Prepare management reports, business review and financial analysis in division and business unit level
• Ensure internal control procedures complying with regulation and policies
• Responsible for cash flow management and monitoring project status in business unit level
• Handle ad hoc duties and assignments (including Merger & Acquisition, etc) when required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Qualified Accountant with HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
• Over 8 years of relevant post qualification experience in listed / sizeable organizations
• In-depth knowledge of HKIFRS or IFRS
• Prior experience in handling China projects or working in China will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of PRC operations, tax and relevant statutory rules and regulations
• A positive attitude, highly self-motivated and desire to succeed
• A high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
• Tactful with excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
