Our client, an US multinational forwarder & global logistics solution provider, is looking for a Clerk focus on sea freight exports, providing clerical support and customer service in their Ocean Freight department  

The job:

• Provide clerical support to the operation teams in handling export shipment process & operations
• Act as a main contact between customers & suppliers to ensure all needs are met within the specified delivery time
• Placing bookings, handle quotations & customs declarations, issue invoices, arrange export shipments with carriers
• Liaising with overseas offices for shipment movement
• Monitor shipment progress & keeping the customer updated of the shipment status

The person:

• Form 5 or above with 1 year relevant experience in Sea freight forwarding
• Good command of English & Chinese
• Customer focused, good customer services & good administration skills
• Good PC skills in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Well organised, team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment & independent
