Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of local Bangladesh staffs to serve all rounded HR/Admin function and compliance function to the factory with sizable operations ( around 3000 – 5000 persons)
- Oversee and manage the general HR & admin support to the factory including recruitment & manpower planning, remuneration management, employment relations, insurance, plant facilities and machinery, security management
- Responsible for factory audit from customer’s auditors and follow up the corrective action plan to meet the compliance standards and customer requirements
- Provide support in implementing and enhancing the Compliance standards, policies and documentation procedures
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree holder in Business / Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
- At least 8 years’ experience in HR management and compliance with garment field, of which at least 3 years must be worked at factory operated by foreign investors for products shipped to US market.
- Well-versed in Bangladesh labor laws and other related legislations
- Strong knowledge in CSR, EHS, C-TPAT, WRAP and ILO is preferred
- Strong time management, presentation skills and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive and able to handle multiple tasks to meet tight working schedule
- Good command of English and strong communication skills with all levels at the factory
