We are looking for a Compliance Associate to join our team, who will mainly assist the Company in its capacity as a regulated entity under the Securities and Futures Commission. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will be responsible for maintaining and executing OPIM’s stringent compliance policies which help the company to maintain its corporate integrity and regulatory oversight. With your background in legal, company secretarial, or finance related industry, your ability to multitask and detail-oriented character will be instrumental to helping the team fortify its leadership in the market. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling regulatory and compliance related work such as conducting KYC due diligence process and performing day-to-day compliance matters to ensure compliance with SFC rules and regulations
• Review and update compliance policies and procedural manuals to reflect new changes to the regulations
• Provide support on third party account opening process
• Conduct periodic checking and assist in preparation of regular compliance report
• Assist in drafting board resolution and review monthly newsletters
• Perform other ad hoc legal and compliance related projects as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or diploma in legal studies
• Related work experience in company secretarial or compliance consulting firm or equivalent experience in industry preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong command of both written and spoken English, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Analytical, pro-active and detail oriented
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing
