We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager and Actuary, High Net Worth Product Management.

In this role, you will

• ​Lead the management of the Universal Life business to ensure the product is sustainable from both financial and risk perspective, with a focus on financial risk, insurance risks, asset and liability matching, capital efficiency, crediting rate management as well as regulatory compliance.
• Lead on going product development, design, pricing, profit testing and capital assessment to ensure the risk appetite and financial targets of the Group are delivered.  
• Works closely with key stakeholders and deliver professional information including recommending actions to top management in decision making process
• Work effectively with others within the organisation in delivering the goals of the team
• Motivate and inspire self and others around them to achieve the highest standards and quality of work
• Undertake other roles and tasks within the organisation as may from time to time arise directly or indirectly relating to primary duties of the role in support of the achievement of vision, mission and business goals for Universal Life products

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

• ​University Degree holder in Actuarial Science, or related disciplines
• Must possess a qualified actuarial qualification, such as Fellow of the Societies of Actuaries, Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
• Extensive working experience in pricing valuation, reporting, asset liability management, or product development within life insurance or life reinsurance settings
• Strong knowledge in Universal Life products
• Solid experience and familiarity within the life insurance market in Hong Kong
• Possess strong technical expertise and is able to learn quickly when new products or requirements arise
• Sound judgment and communications skills
• Strong leadership and solid managerial skills
• A team player with strong abilities to work well independently
• Fluent in English.  Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
