Job Description

 The Job:

  •  
 Provide technical advice on the improvement and maintenance need of the estates and co-ordinate arrangement of work for tradesmen and contractor
  Solve technical problems and deal with emergency repairs for designated estates/properties
  •  
 Administer the tendering process which includes drafting letters to invite quotations, obtaining and evaluating quotations, preparing tender documents and issuing works orders for maintenance and improvement works
  •  
 Conduct regular survey and prepare report of estates and properties inclusive of slopes, roads, grounds and underground services
  •  
 Inspect tenants’ fixtures and various installations and advise on repairs and improvement as necessary
  •  
 Liaise and coordinate with Consultants, utilities companies, Government departments and other parties concerning progress of works in estate areas
  •  
 Prepare design, budgets, estimates drawings, specifications and tender document for maintenance and improvement works of building
  •  
 Attend meetings and handle enquiries from tenants / owners' / residents' associations and etc
  •  
 Handle emergency repairs in estates/managed properties
  •  
 Required to work irregular hours

The Person:

  •  
 High Certificate / Diploma in building / construction or equivalent
  •  
 Minimum 5 post experience in building maintenance / construction industry
  •  
 Sound knowledge of related ordinances and professional maintenance practices
