We are currently seeking a bright individual design engineer to join our Design department. Candidates with drafting experience in the curtain wall or construction industry and would like to focus on and expertise in technical sides instead of creativity/abstract are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• To prepare and submit all related drawings according to the project specification and working programme as required by the Project team.
• To ensure the design shop drawings tally with the structural calculation.
• To revise and re-submit all shop drawings as per the Architect commented shop drawings
• To do / check the material "take-off" of all materials required for the project as per specification
• To draw production drawings and develop machining details as per the approved shop drawings
• To issue all production drawings/information to factory or supplier
• To issue all construction drawings to Project team and fixing sub-contractor for site installation
• To update all "As-Built" shop drawings for final submission
• To maintain proper filing record of drawings and take care the CAD system as well

Job Requirements:

• 10 years working experience in developing of curtain wall details from architectural drawings
• Able to handle full set of drawings with practical experience
• Able to work independently, responsible, good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and 3D is preferred
• Knowledge in curtain wall, cladding, metalwork or glass, building technology and construction is preferred
• Team spirit mentality is a must
• Basic spoken and written Cantonese and English
