Our client is a leading Architecture and Interior Design firm currently working on a number of key destination projects for the major cities in China. These exciting projects embody the next movement of Retail (Shopping Malls), Hospitality, Work Spaces and Public Realms.

They are seeking a Senior Interior designer to work closely with the Project Director(s) and the team in building up the 3^rd Layer (Integrated Interior Design).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To assist Project Director(s) to manage the 3^rd Layer (Integrated Interior Design) projects.
• To work on multiple projects at various stages from concept to construction.
• To work with a network of multidisciplinary team including landscape designer, lighting designer, wayfinding specialists, branding specialists, building contractors, M&E consultants and local material suppliers as well as LDI in China.
• To develop a competent and effective schematic design and detail design packages.
• To resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
• To supervise staff and to give regular updates to Project Director.
• To carry out design documentation review.
• To produce typical detail drawings.
• To nurture and guide younger members in the team to produce competent typical detail drawings.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Interior Design or Architecture faculty.
• Minimum 6 to 10 years solid & relevant working experience in Interior Design especially on Retail Shopping Malls & Hospitality.
• A team player with a positive spirit of ‘Can Do’ attitude.
• A natural technical eye with contemporary aesthetics.
• Good knowledge of materials and finishes.
• Multi-tasking with excellent time management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch up, Indesign & MS Office Application.
• Familiar with Architectural, Interior and Building Services, and Structural design knowledge.
• Good command of written and spoken English / Mandarin / Cantonese.
• Business trips to China will be required for project’s coordination.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
