Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor) - Civil
A leading contractor is seeking a high calibre, success driven Quantity Surveyors to join their team of professionals working on a large scale civil project. You will report to the Commercial Manager and perform QS duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contract administration
- Commercial management of subcontractor’s accounts
- Variation Orders, Valuing Variations, Interim Payments
- Oversee each stage of the project to ensure costs are within budget
- Handle contractual issues
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related
- 8+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Chartered QS preferred (not a must)
- Must be able to work independently, using initiative to capitalise on claims issues
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Fluent in Cantonese & English
