Job Description

To manage business expansion, we are looking for an ambitious, self motivated, results oriented and high calibre person to join as a Business Development Executive to expand our regional presence, client portfolio and solution diversity in the Learning Technology.

The candidate should have a passion for sales and business growth with exposure in the training, learning and technology environment, and will report directly to the CEO and COO.

Responsibilities

  • Expand the contacts within the APAC Region.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new business across the full sales lifecycle.
  • Indentifying and targeting new business, communicating the business value of our solutions, providing follow up materials and closing opportunities.
  • Currently achieving minimum targets exceeding US$250K per annum.
  • Has good understanding of Solutions Selling methodology and tools and applies these regularly to both gain a better understanding of the customers’ environment and manage the relationship.
  • Establish "C" level contact within opportunities and demonstrates a detailed understanding of both the prospects’ sector and business drivers/challenges. 
  • Manage complete sales cycle to achieve revenue targets (from the planning sales strategy to initial contact, pipeline management to contracting).
  • Demonstrate excellent salesmanship in identifying pain, customer’s business drivers, establishing value, leveraging relationships, and negotiating to close
  • Construct bespoke customer ready presentations and proposals with the help of support teams, maintain CRM information with accuracy and integrity of data.

Requirements 

  • Minimum of 1-3 years relevant working experience in Sales & Marketing sector preferably in IT, Aerospace, Healthcare and Education industry with a proven sales track record.
  • Experience in selling to middle and senior level executives in a consultative sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, written and presentation skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin are a prerequisite for this role. Must possess ability to work with senior management of partner/client organizations during the sales cycle.
  • Ability to achieve sales & revenue targets as set by the COO.
  • Consultative and solution, integrated selling expertise.
  • Good business acumen with analytical and problem solving skills to handle challenging situations
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including conflict resolution, customer service and ability to motivate self and others.
  • Ability to handle multiple task tracks.
  • Able to take ownership of client problems and follow through to resolution
  • Clear and confident communicator capable of providing regular feedback to senior management
  • Strong spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin language.
