Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategy and plans of building management of the company to meet business need.
- Prepare budgetary estimates for maintenance tasks within his/her responsible areas and energy consumption profile for corporate financial planning
- Monitor and control the budgeted expenditures of the systems/functions assigned and ensure that all these systems are operated cost-effectively
- Monitor maintenance statistics and audit the maintenance contractors’ response and performance against with the contract specifications
- Develop, implement and enforce policies, procedures, rules, regulations, manuals and guidelines for carrying out effective and systematic building services maintenance
- Plan and supervise the maintenance activities on the systems/facilities assigned to ensure that all these hard-wares are in their best operating condition at a high degree of quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness and meet all relevant legislation and regulations
- Manage facility refurbishment and renovation projects
- Manage and supervise the performance of Service Partners to ensure day-to-day activities in building management, operation, maintenance, inspection, energy management and being carried out in accordance with the established guidelines, procedures, manuals, and strategies and to ensure that the maintenance or other activities of the systems/facilities assigned are organised and carried out timely and competently by prioritising task and avoiding backlog
- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are met
- Lead and handle building/facilities management teams and ensure associate performance met the service standards
- Suggest and implement energy saving or property improvement initiatives and projects

Requirements
- Degree in Facilities Management / Facilities Engineering / Building technology, Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Building Services Engineering, or other relevant Engineering disciplines
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience of which 8 years should be in senior position
- Knowledge of the current legislations and engineering design / practice on facilities management, building services, event technical support, contract law and other requirement related to event / exhibition
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of facility management
- Experience in managing service partner in outsourced operations and projects
- Working knowledge of procurement and contracts
- Sound Knowledge of energy conservation and other environmental related requirement and best practices in E&M and electronic services
- Knowledge of finanical planning and control,contract managment, quality assurance and maintenance management practice
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Possess good communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Staff and service provider, contractors supervisory experience
- Solid computer and systems knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese
