General Description:

The successful candidate will join our interior design and technology team to help deliver innovative design solutions using CAD drawings, presentation graphics, interior materials and textiles, and other media for a range of clients and sectors in Hong Kong and the region. His/her focus will be on generating creative solutions within an assigned project or projects and assisting in their development. The role will usually allow the candidate to carry through projects to execution, entailing technical resolution of conceptual ideas, with support from more senior design teammates. 

He/she will have a higher diploma or undergraduate degree in Interior Design from an accredited institute or university and 2-4 years practical experience in the design/detailing of commercial or retail interiors. He/she must have some working experience in the region. 

The candidate must be a self-motivated team player with experience and interest in modern design, participating widely in broader processes. A passion and/or experience in interdisciplinary creativity will be a plus. The position will allow the right person ample scope for career growth and professional learning.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely within the design team and report to Senior Interior Designers
• Able to handle a full set of construction drawings, design documentation and presentation
• Maintain good relationships with clients and external parties to ensure project completion
• Review fitting-out details and site supervision
• Provide positive working attitude in time management and reach company targets
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D drawing & Photoshop are required
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, readiness to take on new tasks
• Good conceptual design, detailed working drawing and presentation skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Self-motivated, strong problem solving skills
• Creative, well organized, independent thinking hardworking and ability to meet tight deadlines

Key Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite. Use of 3D Studio Max will be an advantage
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage
• Can produce original conceptual ideas and engages in creative problem-solving
• Communicates ideas openly and thrives on collaboration
• Enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn

Work experience requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in interior design or a related field (including 2 years after graduation)
• Good understanding of construction detailing and materials
• Experience in preparation of interior working drawings
