This position reports to the Product Development Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Consider and create user flow diagrams, storyboards and present best practices of the wireframe
• Conceptualize and prototype the products/platforms
• Produce and update user interfaces and visual designs of the platforms – from concept to execution
• Work directly with the Product Development Manager to identify and solve the problems on the platforms
• Continuously update the platforms’ interface and experience
• Create and advance cohesive site-wide style guides
• Ensure consistent design and visual elements across the products to present better company identities (logos, color schemes, complete look and feel)
• Collaborate with the Product Development manager and IT teams to create product prototypes (platform demos) based on business priorities
• Perform observation of user tasks, integrate these findings with the business requirements to transform the user’s model into the user interface
• Examine the market for DD and PES technologies and suggest enhancements to BU’s platforms: LEVELS, STATUS and other relevant systems
• Work with the Product Development Manager to explain the platform updates to the IT teams, ensuring at all times that the prototypes are well-understood.
• Test and iterate the platforms – to ensure that platforms are engineered appropriately.
• Develop hand-on experience with designing tools including Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Work with the team on process optimizations
• Assist the Business Development team with ad hoc projects when necessary

Requirements:

• Ideally possess at least 1 year experience in UI design for website

• Proficient, working knowledge of various design tools (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Knowledge in HTML5, CSS and Jquery will be an advantage

• Strong sense in layout, presentation and interactive design is advantageous

• Coding skill is a PLUS.

• Proficient with Wireframing tools (UXPing, Sketch, Balsamiq, Invision)

• A strong interest in UI design is a plus

• Front-end development languages awareness is a plus

• Interest in product and project management is a plus

• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills

• Professional communication skills – written and verbal

• Detail oriented, problem solving and multi-tasking skills also required.

• Must have collaborative mind set, be a team-player and be keen to share knowledge.

• Ability to work independently and thrive in learning new techniques.
