This company is a large listed multinational retailer with a portfolio of leading apparel and accessory brands.  An opening exists for a senior design & product development professional to join the organisation in Hong Kong in this Asia Pacific role.

Reporting to and working closely with the product director, you will lead the creative development and design of products to maximize sales and profitability and enhance the brand reputation.  You will manage the overall product development process from planning to samples in line with the overall brand strategy to achieve overall business objectives and will create the seasonal product strategy to drive growth and manage designs that generate innovative and commercially viable products for Asia Pacific.

Requirements

•  A minimum of 12 years in apparel design & product development
•  Experience leading and managing a team of designers and product developers
•  Strong fashion sense and keenly aware of market trends
•  Excellent technical garment knowledge
•  Willingness to travel with excellent written and spoken English; an Asian language a plus
