Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the whole merchandising functions to ensure smooth work-flow in co-ordination with factories on sampling and bulk order allocation, follow-through of production status and process, updating production requirement and delivery;
• Work closely with design team to ensure smooth process of sample and bulk production;
• Strategically regularly research and evaluate production capacity and product quality of potential factories for fabric & garment-assembling;
• Provide support and solution on production or development problems with factories.

Requirements:

• University / Diploma graduate in Textile and Clothing or related discipline;
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience;
• Solid experience in handling fashion & garment industry; 
• Understanding of lab test standard & China National Standard is a must;
• Good knowledge and experience in garment technical areas;
• Must be familiar with factory operations and quality control matters;
• Cost conscious and with strong negotiation skills;
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Occasional travel to China factory.
