Service Manager Summary:

Manages and directs staff in maintenance of our installations in CSSD and OR, including budgeting and achieving the financial target.  Coordinates activities with managers from both sales and administrative divisions.

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Supervises technical staff who are responsible for the repair and maintenance, including installation and commissioning occasionally.  Assigns and coordinates work assignments and resolution of critical technical and procedural problems.
  

• Develops and maintain good relationship with users and executes strategic and tactical plans to facilitate and coordinate the delivery of technical services.

• Ensures acceptable high levels of equipment performance in the field.  The task involves technical knowledge and effective management procedures within the team.
  

• Manages budgeting, quotation, service contract and tender documentation.  Growth and development of after-market service income is one the key responsibility.

• Develops plans of the manpower, training, and an effective operation system for giving a competent and efficient service to the market.
  

• Cooperate closely with factory experts and other local division like Sales & Marketing, After-market and Finance.

• Carry out quality assurance and compliance procedures instructed by factory and local authority.

To excel in this role, you will need to have the following requirements:

• Degree or equivalent academic qualification in a job related discipline e.g. engineering, biomedical, or healthcare.

• At least 4 years experience in position of technical manager or service manager in medical equipment or hospital facilities industry. 
  

• Self-motivated, responsible, pro-active and good interpersonal skill.
  

• Able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.

• Able to travel overseas for training.
