Job Responsibilities:

This role supports executing Product Safety Quality Assurance (PSQA) field activities process calibration and standardization projects through planning, execution and result monitoring.

Standardization and Calibration

• Collaborate with project committee to devise and implement calibration/standardization method for PSQA field process to deliver consistent outcome across PSQA global teams. Integrate quality management principle/tool with industry experience to achieve project outcome.
• Play key role in the calibration activities/during new process role out and in training PSQA teams to improve the execution consistency of OS PSQA field activity across regions.
• Analyzes and solve complex process problems utilizing quality concepts; collaborate with global teams to drive process changes and serve as the project liaison by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Best Practices

• Employ process improvement methodology and project management tools in projects & process work related to PSQA activities to ensure effective business processes (e.g. factory assessments, pre-production risk assessments, product inspection and validation requirements, etc.).
• Provide technical expertise to help identifying improvement opportunities and potential solutions through data collection & analysis, seeking best practices and benchmark process improvement strategy within industry.

Data and Technology

• Be involved in drafting, analyzing, and validating end-user requirements during technology working
• Serves as liaison between end-users and consultants during IT and technology projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in engineering and/or technical disciplines equivalent and/or retail compliance, quality management, product or manufacturing industry equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industry
• Solid background in quality and/or technical or/engineering perspectives
• Expert in quality assurance processes, procedure and tools
• Manufacturing audit experience
• Understand statistical analysis including AQL technique and how and when to apply them based on the situation and specific needs
• Understand knowledge of US/Canada regulatory and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills in English and local language
• Collaborative focus and ability to work successfully across teams; ability to work independently with little or no supervision from manager
• Ability to travel
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office software applications
