Job Description
Working Location: Discovery Bay, Lantau Island
Responsibilities:
The Event Operations Manager reports to the Director of Events and responsible for the managing and developing the events service team including casual labour workforce, to improve the quality of service delivery, inventory control and profitability in line with hotel objectives and service quality.
The Event Operations Manager is also responsible for the regular communication with the event sales team and kitchen production team ensuring that every detail is understood and captured ensuring the highest customer service standards and guest satisfaction are delivered.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Food & Beverage Management
- Minimum 5 years’ related experience with proven track record in hospitality industry
- Independent, good team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong customer service skills and passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Detail-minded, well-organized, good judgment, ability of problem solving and training
- Fluent in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Able to work irregular hours, weekends and evenings
- Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment, internet, telecommunication technology is preferable
