Overview

We are looking for talented C++ software engineers and quantitative analysts to join our clients in a rapid phase of expansion and be one of the key-members to contribute for their Fintech projects.

The role itself involves working on the GREENFIELD development of C, C++ low-latency, high-frequency trading systems across core automated-Market Making, Options, Derivative instruments and there are a lot more exciting projects upcoming. 

You will have the opportunity to tackle some of the sophisticated problems in the industry. The team is made up of exceptional young enthusiastically like-minded technologists who have either worked in industry and played an integral part in building High Frequency Electronic Trading platforms, or true techies from the likes of tech MNC’s and Hedge funds who have a passion for complex problems, utilising cutting edge C, C++ and associated technologies while collaborating with super intelligent peers to build something special 

What You Will Be Doing

• Working directly with the CTO, you'll define new products and support existing ones.
• Work with cutting edge, disruptive technology
• Develop high frequency, low latency trading platforms and e-Commerce applications
• Engage in hands-on greenfield development projects
• Lead and recruit junior developers
• Scope and document technical work based on business requirements
• Design, implement and document highly scalable and fault-tolerant applications
• Prototype applications to evaluate new technologies as appropriate
• Enhance the performance of existing applications, and services
• Work with a team of engineers and developers in a cross-functional environment implementing high-quality products
• Provide leadership in areas of expertise
• Collaborate closely with other technical experts, product managers and business stakeholders
• Interface with all levels of management for business and IT functions
• Provide status of engineering efforts on a daily basis

What You Need for this Position

• BACHELORS, MASTERS (MPhil), PHD IN ENGINEERING (ELECTRONIC, AUTOMATION, ELECTRICAL, SOFTWARE ETC) OR COMPUTER SCIENCE GRADUATE
• Strong 1+ years of proven programming fundamentals, software architecture and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in  C, C++ (STL, BOOST, Multithreading) OR Python
• Knowledge of design patterns is a plus
• Highly motivated; ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a small team and meet aggressive project deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, especially in contributing to architecture and design documentation
• Comfortable working in a multinational environment and understand how to leverage cultural diversity
• Dynamic and tenacious individual (Essential) with a 'positive & winning-attitude' 
• Solid communications in English and Cantonese
