Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantitative research and statistical modeling on historical financial data;
• Develop, validate and execute algorithms and predictive models for enhancing trading performance;
• Analyze data by utilizing time-series, optimization, regression and predictive analytics techniques;
• Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve moderately complex business problems;
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that help generate insights and address reporting needs;
• Explore existing data and recommend additional sources of data for improvements;
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and present results in a clear manner.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor / Master / PhD degree holder in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or other quantitative disciplines;
• 2-4 years of working experience in data science, data analysis, data mining, and creation of algorithms / data models / modeling in financial services or other data-driven organizations;
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, hands-on experience on programming skills in languages such as: R, Python, RapidMiner, Hadoop, Spark;
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research utilizing large data sets, contribute to the continuous improvement of the investment process and the team's research and trading infrastructure;
• Passion and detail-oriented for problem solving with an intense curiosity about financial markets and human behavior;
• Willing to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small team.
